The Chocolate Weekly 24 – 2015
This week we are excited to see the great talents of the UK & Ireland Junior Chocolate Masters:
– Dominic Hutchings from Coworth Park
– Jack Lewis, chocolatier
– Quentin Bechard from the Shangri-La Hotel at the Shard
– Reece Hunt from BE Chocolate
– Sebastian Williams from ME London
On Wednesday the contestants will show their great talent at the Cacao Barry Chocolate Academy at Banbury so we are wishing each of them successful last hours of preparations and best of luck at the competition. They are all great talents so for us each of them is a winner!
As you may know already, you can create your own chocolate at Cacao Barry Or Noir Lab in Paris. Some great chefs and restaurants have done this already. Those include Joanne Todd (Brown’s hotel), Cherish Finden (The Langham), Michel Roux jr (Le Gavroche), Alistair Birt (UK & Ireland Chocolate Master) and many others. But not long ago for the first time the great Irish pastry chef Paul Kelly created his own white chocolate at the Or Noir Lab. We will present him and his story next week.
