It’s also time for special Wimbledon dedicated afternoon teas!

The Dorchester and their executive pastry chef David Girard (read our interview here) are inviting you to enter into the spirit of the occasion by enjoying their special Wimbledon Afternoon Tea, which includes a strawberry champagne tarte, a mango and lime delice and a milk chocolate mousse change-over. Tea will be accompanied by a glass of Champagne, traditional strawberries & cream, finger sandwiches and homemade scones.

Wimbledon Afternoon Tea is available from June 29 to July 12 inclusive.

Served daily at 1:00pm, 2pm, 3:15pm, 4:30pm, 5:30pm and 6:45pm

Also the Ampersand hotel’s team with Ji Sun Shin (read our interview with her here) has prepared  a lovely Wimbledon Afternoon Tea available from 27th June – 17th July.
It includes Savoury gougeres – Glouster old spot ham, sauce gribiche; Cheese with fruit chutney; H.Forman & Son London smoked salmon, dill and cream cheese; Coronation chicken – followed by white chocolate and plain scones, served with Devonshire clotted cream & homemade strawberry preserve

You’ll also be treated to a selection of Wimbledon inspired pastries including Coconut mousse and mango passion fruit jelly tennis ball on a lime sponge tennis court, Ginger bread tennis racket, Strawberry and cream tart, Blueberry white chocolate ganache macaroon and Pimm’s cocktail shot.

The Wimbledon Afternoon tea is also inviting at The Renaissance St Pancras hotel with the executive pastry chef Adrian Barry (interview here) who has prepared

Corn fed chicken, brioche bun; Honey roast ham, wholegrain mustard mayonnaise; Pane con Noci bread;  Oak smoked Scottish salmon, dill crème fraiche, brioche bun; Cucumber, mint, lemon & curd cheese, beetroot bread; Rare roast beef, horseradish cream, seeded onion brioche bun; Egg mayonnaise, mustard cress, cranberry bread and desserts: Pimm’s jelly with summer fruits; English strawberries & cream macaron; Chocolate financier with passion fruit cream; Blackberry and pistachio layer cake; Earl grey & milk chocolate mousse.
