Christmas 2015 by Adrian Barry and his team at St. Pancras Renaissance Hotel London
Adrian Barry, the executive pastry chef of the St. Pancras Renaissance Hotel London is inviting you to enjoy the Christmas Afternoon tea which will be available from Thursday 26th November till the 3rd of January next year. This year, the St. Pancras Renaissance Hotel London has chosen a traditional Victorian theme.
The chocolate featured in their festive afternoon tea is the Madirofolo from Cacao Barry’s plantation range. You will be able to taste it in the black forest dessert which combines the bitterness of the chocolate with the explosive intensity of the Griotte cherries. The sweet part of the tea includes also Clementine jelly with blackberry cream, Cassis & Yoghurt with red currant jelly and a trio of gingerbreads.
Tea can be upgraded with a St Pancras Mulled Cider, Champagne Eggnog or a Smoking Bishop.
Adrian Barry is also proud to present a bestseller on their menu: a creation by his Pastry Chef Manuel Demmin. Manuel has worked with Adrian over the last 4 years and runs the Pastry section of the Booking Office at St Pancras Renaissance. His chocolate of choice for this lovely dessert is another Cacao Barry’s plantation range: Alto El Sol, which being slightly fruity matches perfectly with the mandarin and warm pistachio cake.
A new addition is also the Earl Grey Éclair, which is made with Cacao Barry Papouasie milk couverture.
